Ten Step Service Programme

In choosing a Fire Industry Association of Ireland member company for all your fire safety equipment and maintenance needs, you are investing in quality protection. The performance of your portable and fixed fire fighting appliances depends not only on the quality of the product, but in the quality of its maintenance schedule.

The Ten Step Service Programme will also include.

  • Visual inspection of all portable fire appliances on site.
  • Check weight and perform hydrostatic testing as required (CO2 Carbon Dioxide)
  • Visual/Manual inspection of vessel pressure gauges.
  • Removal of tamper seals and safety pull pins.
  • Removal of discharge hoses and check for continuity.
  • Inspection of the valve assemblies.
  • Cleaning and re-mounting of portable appliances.
  • Review of extinguisher types and placements.
  • New certification label – neck collar.
  • Check for possible obstructions to access or visibility.

On completion of work, a certificate of compliance to IS291 will be issued and is valid for one year of issue date.
Our goal is to treat our customers as we would want to be treated, while fulfilling your fire safety needs in a professional and satisfactory manner.
